Description
The Universal Cylindrical Grinding Machine Model M-1420 (750×118 mm) is a manual precision surface grinding machine designed for the accurate machining of external and internal cylindrical surfaces as well as tapered profiles on shafts, rods, and similar parts. It combines stable mechanical construction with a swivelling work-head and table, enabling flexible grinding operations including straight and taper grinding.
The machine’s distance between centers is 750 mm, making it suitable for workpieces up to that length, while the center height of 118 mm ensures adequate clearance for workpieces with diameters up to approximately 200 mm. It supports both outside diameter (O.D.) grinding and inside diameter (I.D.) grinding within standard industrial ranges (typically ~8–200 mm O.D. and ~13–80 mm I.D.).
