Tapping attachments

Tapping attachments let you cut internal threads on a drilling machine, milling machine, lathe or VMC with accurate alignment, less tap breakage and faster cycle times. Gearo offers tapping attachments with Morse taper shanks (such as MT2 and MT3) and quick change collet housings, so you can change taps quickly without stopping the machine. The built-in clutch and forward-reverse action protect the tap from overload and make it easy to back out of the hole. Compare taper size, tap capacity range (for example M3 to M12), collet type and drive style to match your machine spindle.
