A boring head enlarges and finishes holes to an exact size on a milling machine, VMC or CNC machine. You set the diameter by adjusting the head, and the boring bars hold the cutting tool. Gearo offers F1 type boring heads with boring bar sets and high precision boring head sets, with a choice of shanks such as R8, MT2, MT3, ISO30, ISO40 and BT40 to fit your machine spindle. A boring head gives accurate hole size, a smooth finish and good repeatability, which is useful for bearing seats, bushes, dies and moulds.
